Nowadays, the image we are seeing is often more important than what we are, more important than being. In Wohin?, the choreographer Andressa Miyazato works with the concept of alterity. It is a provocation, for herself as a creator and for the interpreters as a body, leaving a body that represents a reality that can (or not?) be itself, and for the audience, in the sense that if we say that the piece is a “being,” the stage will be the body and the audience, through their perceptions, will be the soul. The dramaturgical, scenographic, and spatial construction brings references of cycle/course, impermanences, metamorphoses, and degradation. Are your body yours? What is your body? A metamorphosis from the outward to the inward… you decide where to go… destination?
